What’s New this Year?
The new Corolla lineup gains some great updates for the 2023 model year. All models have minor styling and powertrain updates that make them even more modern. There's also a next-generation infotainment system making its debut this year, offering easier connectivity and control when you're on the go around Bridgeton, NJ and beyond.
Performance
Corolla
The new Toyota Corolla lineup offers a fun and efficient performance whether you’re cruising around the city. Under the hood, the 2023 Corolla lineup now comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, replacing the 1.8-liter engine of the past. It now offers 169-horsepower and 151 pounds-feet of torque in every model, all without sacrificing fuel economy, allowing you to enjoy a stronger performance and continue to save at the gas pump. All models use a continuously variable automatic transmission to make every ride smooth. Every Corolla model also has front-wheel drive.
Corolla Hybrid
The Corolla Hybrid models will use a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors. The system will provide 134-horsepower and 156 pounds-feet of torque, both of which numbers are increased from previous years. Fuel economy ratings aren’t yet clear, but we anticipate the highest fuel economy offered yet in the Corolla Hybrid lineup. It’s also one of the only compact hybrid cars that you can have equipped with all-wheel drive.
Design
Exterior
The new Corolla and Corolla Hybrid models both offer similar exterior styling, featuring LED running lights, remote keyless entry, and a sleek build from head to toe. Higher trim levels also have a power sunroof, LED headlights and accent lighting.
Interior
Inside the cabin, you can enjoy comfortable seating for five passengers, plus 13.1 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk, allowing you to fit all your groceries, luggage, golf bags, and other gear on your adventures around Glassboro. Cloth upholstery comes standard, but simulated leather upholstery is also available on the XLE models and up. There's also available heated front seats and sport-bolstered front seats.
Technology
All the new 2023 Corolla models come well-equipped with a wealth of state-of-the-art technology features. Every Corolla model now comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, featuring standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, allowing you to connect your smartphone via Bluetooth or a USB cord and use the touchscreen or voice commands to control your favorite features as you drive.
Safety
The new 2023 Toyota Corolla lineup also comes equipped with a bevy of driver assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, lane departure mitigation, lane keeping system, and more.
